Summary: Original data: 96 prompts, 7 Singapore industries, 70 brands tracked across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI and Copilot. See who AI recommends — and who it ignores.
Key Takeaways
- →A single brand captures 29% of AI mentions in the average Singapore category — concentration ranges from 44% (digital marketing) to 16% (tuition)
- →9 of 70 tracked brands (13%) recorded zero AI mentions — including established firms with active websites and paid search budgets
- →Government websites are the most-cited domain in regulated B2B categories — ACRA ranks number 1 in both accounting and corporate secretarial
- →One tuition company blog earns citations across three unrelated industries — publishing best-of-Singapore roundups outside its own sector
- →YouTube is the single most-cited domain for agency queries: 389 citations, 4x the next domain
We tracked 96 buyer prompts across seven Singapore industries — digital marketing, interior design, tuition, accounting, corporate secretarial, aircon servicing and insect screens — to measure which brands AI assistants actually name when a buyer asks for a recommendation. Across 70 tracked brands, 9 were never mentioned once. In the average category, a single brand captured 29% of all AI mentions, and in four of seven industries the most-cited source was not a service provider website at all.
This is not a Google rankings report. It measures whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI and Copilot name your brand inside the answer — the only position that exists when there is no results page. We collect this data ourselves through daily automated prompt tracking, geo-set to Singapore. No one else publishes it for this market.
Performance Marketing Lab is a Singapore generative engine optimisation (GEO) consultancy. We publish this index because we believe the market should be able to see what AI actually says about it — including about us.
Key findings
- →A single brand captures 29% of AI mentions in the average Singapore category. Concentration ranges from 44% (digital marketing agencies) to 16% (tuition centres).
- →9 of 70 tracked brands (13%) recorded zero AI mentions — including established firms with active websites and paid search budgets.
- →Government websites are the most-cited domain in Singapore regulated B2B categories. ACRA (acra.gov.sg) ranks number 1 in both accounting and corporate secretarial services; HDB (hdb.gov.sg) ranks in the top 10 for interior design.
- →One tuition company blog earns citations across three unrelated industries. Terris.sg ranks number 6 among cited domains in tuition and number 5 in corporate secretarial, and its aircon listicle ranks number 8 among all cited URLs in aircon servicing — by publishing best-of-Singapore roundups outside its own sector.
- →YouTube is the single most-cited domain for agency queries: 389 citations, 8% share, 4x the next domain.
- →Reddit ranks top-10 in three of seven categories — number 2 in interior design, number 3 in tuition, number 8 in insect screens.
- →AI confuses equipment brands with service providers in home services. Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric and Panasonic take three of the top five aircon mention slots, but score just 38%, 33% and 10% on purchase intent — versus 67% for local servicing firm SoCool.
- →Only one of seven categories is led by brand-owned websites. In insect screens, brand domains take three of the top four citation slots; in the other six, third-party sources dominate.
How concentrated is AI visibility in Singapore?
Extremely. In every category tracked, the top brand captured between 16% and 44% of all AI mentions, and the bottom half of each field captured almost nothing. AI answers name three to five brands — there is no page two.
| Industry | Category leader | Share of voice | Brand coverage | Brands at 0% |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Digital marketing agencies | First Page | 44% | 7.5% | 3 of 10 |
| Interior design | Qanvast | 39% | 22.5% | 1 of 10 |
| Corporate secretarial | Sleek | 32% | 39.5% | 2 of 10 |

| Tuition centres | The Learning Lab / Mind Stretcher (tied) | 16% each | 32.5% each | 0 of 10 |
Tuition is the most fragmented market in Singapore AI search — no brand exceeds 16% share of voice, and ten brands share the answer space. Digital marketing is the most concentrated: one agency takes 44%.
Which Singapore digital marketing agencies does AI recommend?
First Page leads with 39 mentions and 44% share of voice across 21 GEO and performance marketing prompts on Perplexity. Three of ten tracked agencies recorded zero mentions.

We rank sixth on our own index. We publish it anyway — that is what makes it an index rather than an advertisement.
What drives visibility here: third-party listicles, and video. All ten of the most-cited URLs are external best GEO agencies roundups (Directive Consulting 55 citations, Nutshell 51, ImpactPlus 50, Position Digital 50, WebFX 50). YouTube is the number 1 cited domain with 389 citations and 8% share — more than four times WebFX at 95. LinkedIn ranks number 6 with 71. No tracked Singapore agency has meaningful video coverage of these topics.
Visibility here is also won prompt by prompt, not in general: a single prompt (Who offers GEO marketing for Singapore SMEs?) produced 5 of our 7 brand mentions and 30 of our 56 domain citations — 54% of our entire citation footprint from one query.
Which interior design firms does AI recommend in Singapore?
Qanvast — a directory, not a design firm — dominates with 9 mentions and 39% share of voice. Every tracked design firm sits at 10% coverage or below.
Singapore AI visibility interior design July 2026 — mentions per tracked brand
| Rank | Brand | Mentions | Share of voice | Brand coverage | Avg. position | Purchase intent |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Qanvast | 9 | 39% | 22.5% | 1.35 | 93% |
| 2 | Ac Vision | 4 | 17% | 10.0% | 1.67 | 78% |
| 3 | The Interior Lab | 3 | 13% | 7.5% | 2.00 | 78% |

| 9 | Weiken | 1 | 4% | 2.5% | 2.00 | 78% |
| 10 | Cozyspace | 0 | 0% | 0.0% | - | 10% |
What drives visibility here: cost guides and directories. The most-cited domain is homematch.sg (13 citations, 4%), followed by Reddit (11, 3%), Zenith Arc (10), Qanvast (10) and YouTube (10). HDB own website (hdb.gov.sg) ranks number 9 with 6 citations — regulatory authority pulled directly into commercial answers.
The single most-cited URL is a renovation guide, and three of the top ten are interior design cost guides. Design firms that publish portfolios get ignored; sites that publish prices and process get cited.
Which tuition centres does AI recommend in Singapore?
The Learning Lab and Mind Stretcher tie at 13 mentions each, but neither exceeds 16% share of voice — the most fragmented category we track.
Singapore AI visibility tuition centres July 2026 — mentions per tracked brand
| Rank | Brand | Mentions | Share of voice | Brand coverage | Avg. position | Purchase intent |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | The Learning Lab | 13 | 16% | 32.5% | 1.39 | 90% |
| 2 | Mind Stretcher | 13 | 16% | 32.5% | 1.94 | 76% |
| 3 | SmileTutor | 8 | 10% | 20.0% | 2.38 | 66% |
| 4 | AGrader Learning Centre | 6 | 8% | 15.0% | 2.89 | 55% |

| 9 | Skoolopedia | 4 | 5% | 10.0% | - | - |
| 10 | Mavis | 3 | 4% | 8.0% | 4.00 | - |
What drives visibility here: other people top 10 lists. The most-cited domain is smiletutor.sg (28 citations, 8%) — a tutoring agency whose Top 10 PSLE Tuition Centres post is cited more than any centre own website. Skoolopedia (16), Reddit (13) and parenting publisher SassyMama (13) follow.
Position quality and visibility diverge sharply here. Sophia Education holds the best average position in the category (1.17 — usually named first when named at all) but only 10% brand coverage. Being mentioned well and being mentioned often are separate problems.
Which accounting firms does AI recommend in Singapore?
3E Accounting and Osome tie at 11 mentions and 29% share of voice each. The most-cited domain in the category is the government.
Singapore AI visibility accounting July 2026 — mentions per tracked brand
| Rank | Brand | Mentions | Share of voice | Brand coverage | Avg. position | Purchase intent |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 3E Accounting | 11 | 29% | 27.5% | 2.03 | 75% |
| 2 | Osome | 11 | 29% | 27.5% | 1.13 | 96% |
| 3 | Counto | 5 | 13% | 12.5% | 1.42 | 91% |
| 4 | Harvest Accounting | 4 | 11% | 10.0% | 1.75 | 83% |
| 5 | Rikvin | 2 | 5% | 5.0% | 2.50 | 66% |

| 9 | AI Accountant | 1 | 3% | 2.5% | 1.00 | 100% |
| 10 | Lionsworld Incorporation | 0 | 0% | 0.0% | - | 10% |
What drives visibility here: compliance authority. ACRA (acra.gov.sg) is the number 1 cited domain with 21 citations and 6% share, ahead of every commercial provider. Sleek follows at number 2 with 20 citations and 5% — notable because Sleek is cited heavily here while not even ranking as a mentioned brand in this prompt set. Excellencesg.com (14) and taxfiling.sg (14) round out the top four.
The pattern: AI answers grounded in statutory obligation cite the statute source first, then the commercial sites that explain it most clearly.
Which corporate secretarial services does AI recommend in Singapore?
Sleek leads decisively with 15 mentions, 32% share of voice and 39.5% brand coverage — the strongest single-brand position in any category we track.
Singapore AI visibility corporate secretarial July 2026 — mentions per tracked brand
| Rank | Brand | Mentions | Share of voice | Brand coverage | Avg. position | Purchase intent |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Sleek | 15 | 32% | 39.5% | 1.16 | 97% |
| 2 | HeySara | 9 | 19% | 23.7% | 2.28 | 68% |
| 3 | Osome | 9 | 19% | 23.7% | 2.39 | 65% |
| 4 | BBCIncorp | 4 | 9% | 10.5% | 3.50 | 49% |
| 5 | InCorp | 4 | 9% | 10.5% | 4.33 | 27% |
| 6 | 3E Accounting | 3 | 6% | 7.9% | 4.00 | 33% |
| 7 | Tianlong | 2 | 4% | 5.3% | 1.50 | 89% |
| 8 | Singapore Corporate Services | 1 | 2% | 2.6% | 1.00 | 100% |
| 9-10 | Koh Management, Budget Corporate Services | 0 | 0% | 0% | - | - |
What drives visibility here: ACRA again (26 citations, 8%), tied with sleek.com (25 citations, 8%). Statrys (17) and Excellencesg (17) follow — both fintech/comparison publishers rather than service providers.
The prompt that generates the most citations in this category is the price question. How much do corporate secretary services cost in Singapore? produced the highest domain citation count for the tracked brand, and its best-performing page is a price comparison article. Published pricing is a citation magnet in a category where most firms hide it.
Which aircon servicing companies does AI recommend in Singapore?
SoCool leads with 17 mentions and 47.2% brand coverage — but three of the top five slots go to equipment manufacturers, not servicing companies.
Singapore AI visibility aircon servicing July 2026 — mentions per tracked brand
| Rank | Brand | Mentions | Share of voice | Brand coverage | Avg. position | Purchase intent |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | SoCool | 17 | 17% | 47.2% | 2.07 | 67% |
| 2 | DW Aircon Servicing | 12 | 12% | 33.3% | 2.28 | 63% |
| 3 | Daikin | 9 | 9% | 25.0% | 3.58 | 38% |
| 4 | Mitsubishi Electric | 8 | 8% | 22.2% | 3.60 | 33% |
| 5 | Panasonic | 7 | 7% | 19.4% | 5.25 | 10% |
| 6 | Letscool Aircon | 6 | 6% | 11.1% | 3.38 | 83% |
| 7 | GoodCool Aircon | 6 | 6% | 16.7% | 3.75 | 29% |
| 8 | Cool Aircon | 4 | 4% | 11.0% | - | - |
| 9 | Coldway Aircon Service | 3 | 3% | 8.3% | 4.33 | 25% |
| 10 | Coolman Aircon Servicing | 3 | 3% | 8.0% | 2.00 | - |
AI conflates equipment brands with service providers in home services. Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric and Panasonic collectively take 24 mentions but score 38%, 33% and 10% on purchase intent — they surface as product answers inside service queries. Local servicing firms convert far better on the same prompts: Letscool scores 83% purchase intent on 11.1% coverage.
What drives visibility here: consumer media and competitor listicles. Food-and-lifestyle publisher SethLui.com ties for number 1 cited domain (16 citations, 5%) alongside coolaircon.sg (16) — a competitor site. Terris.sg aircon listicle appears again at number 8 among cited URLs (5).
Which insect screen brands does AI recommend in Singapore?
Mozziefy leads with 582 mentions and 26% share of voice; Dinomesh sits second at 432 mentions. This category has by far the highest citation volume of the seven — AI answers here cite sources dozens of times per day.
Singapore AI visibility insect screens July 2026 — mentions per tracked brand
| Rank | Brand | Mentions | Share of voice | Brand coverage | Avg. position | Sentiment | Purchase intent |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Mozziefy | 582 | 26% | 23.9% | 1.45 | +65 | 91% |
| 2 | Dinomesh | 432 | 19% | 17.8% | 1.68 | +63 | 82% |
| 3 | Magicseal | 411 | 18% | 16.9% | 1.73 | +70 | 83% |
| 4 | Insect Out | 402 | 18% | 16.5% | 1.60 | +57 | 88% |
| 5 | AmazingSeal Singapore | 143 | 6% | 5.9% | 2.53 | +54 | 66% |
| 6 | Miss Mosquito Net | 142 | 6% | 5.8% | 2.68 | +74 | 63% |
| 7 | novas | 58 | 3% | 2.4% | 3.42 | +49 | 45% |
| 8 | Mazer Screen | 42 | 2% | 1.7% | 2.60 | +69 | 66% |
| 9 | IHSING | 14 | 1% | 0.6% | 1.91 | +38 | 79% |
| 10 | BLIND XPERT | 0 | 0% | 0% | - | - | - |
This is the only category where brand-owned websites dominate citations. Insectout.com.sg leads with 1,561 citations (7%), followed by dinomesh.com (1,002), Shopee (910) and mozziefy.com (847). Marketplaces are structural here — Shopee, Ubuy (564) and Fruugo (562) contribute 2,036 combined citations. Reddit (396) and YouTube (382) also rank top-10.
The highest-earning pages answer one regulatory question. Are no-drill insect screens allowed in HDB flats? drove 196 domain citations to a single brand — more than most brands entire websites earn. The retractable-installation prompt drove 172, and the cost question 90.
High sentiment does not produce visibility. Miss Mosquito Net holds the category best sentiment (+74) but ranks sixth at 5.8% coverage. AI rewards being cited, not being liked.
Cross-industry findings: what actually earns AI citations in Singapore
These are the patterns that only appear when you look at seven categories at once.
1. In regulated categories, the government site is the competitor
ACRA is the number 1 cited domain in both accounting (21 citations) and corporate secretarial (26 citations). HDB appears in interior design top ten. Where a purchase decision has a statutory component — filing obligations, permits, renovation rules — AI grounds the answer in the regulator and then cites whichever commercial site explains the rule most usefully. You do not outrank the regulator. You become the clearest explanation of what the regulator requires. The single best-performing page in our entire dataset (196 citations) is a brand page answering an HDB rule question.
2. One blog can dominate three industries it does not operate in
Terris.sg — a tuition company — ranks number 6 among cited domains in tuition (8 citations) and number 5 in corporate secretarial (11 citations), and its best aircon servicing post ranks number 8 among all cited URLs in aircon servicing (5 citations). It achieves this by publishing best X in Singapore listicles far outside its own sector. Excellencesg.com does the same across accounting (number 3, 14) and corporate secretarial (number 4, 17). Sleek is the number 2 cited domain in accounting despite that prompt set not tracking it as a brand.
The implication is uncomfortable but clear: in Singapore, publishing a well-structured comparison of other companies is currently a higher-leverage AI visibility play than publishing about yourself.
3. Community and video platforms are category infrastructure
Reddit ranks top-10 in three of seven categories (number 2 interior design, number 3 tuition, number 8 insect screens). YouTube ranks top-10 in three (number 1 agencies, number 5 interior design, number 9 insect screens), and is the single most-cited domain in the agency category with 389 citations. LinkedIn ranks number 6 for agencies. Brands absent from these platforms forfeit the citation surface entirely — no amount of on-site content substitutes.
4. Purchase intent and visibility are different metrics, and they diverge
Panasonic: 19.4% coverage, 10% purchase intent. Sophia Education: best average position in tuition (1.17), 10% coverage. NP Digital: 100% purchase intent, 0.2% coverage. High visibility with low intent means you are being named as background context rather than as a recommendation; high intent with low visibility means your positioning works but nothing is feeding the engines. They require opposite fixes.
5. Cost pages and rule pages beat everything else
Across all seven categories, the prompts that generated the most citations were price questions and regulatory questions: insect screen cost (90 citations), corporate secretary cost (highest citation prompt in category), interior design cost guides (three of the top ten cited URLs), aircon package pricing. Most Singapore service businesses deliberately hide pricing. In AI search, that decision removes you from the answer.
What to do with this data
If you are in a regulated category (accounting, corporate secretarial, renovation, healthcare, finance): build pages that explain the specific rule your buyer is worried about, with the regulator cited and the practical implication stated plainly. That is the page shape that earned 196 citations in our dataset.
If you are in a service category (agencies, tuition, aircon, interior design): your own blog is not the lever. Third-party listicles, video and community threads are. Pursue placement in the roundups already being cited, and publish comparison content — including comparisons that name competitors.
If you sell a physical product: your own domain and marketplace listings both matter. Insect screens is the only category where brand sites lead, and marketplaces contributed over 2,000 citations.
Everyone: publish your prices. Cost prompts are the highest-citation query type in five of seven categories.

Definitions: Mentions — count of brand-name appearances in AI answers. Share of voice — a brand mentions as a percentage of all tracked brand mentions in that category. Brand coverage — percentage of tracked answers in which the brand appears. Average position — mean ordinal position of the brand within answers where it appears (lower is better). Sentiment — scored negative 100 to positive 100. Purchase intent (likelihood to buy) — Otterly.ai modelled score based on mention context and position.
Limitations
We state these plainly, because a data source that hides its weaknesses does not deserve to be cited.
- →Five of the seven categories are day-one snapshots. Interior design, tuition, accounting, corporate secretarial and aircon tracking began on 26 July 2026, so those figures represent a single day and small absolute counts (single-digit mention totals). They establish a baseline; they are not yet trends. Treat rank order in those categories as provisional until the August edition.
- →The digital marketing category was tracked on Perplexity only, so it is not directly comparable to the multi-engine categories.
- →Prompt sets were selected by us and are not exhaustive; different prompts would produce different rankings.
- →AI answers are non-deterministic. The same prompt can return different brands on different runs. All figures are period aggregates, not guarantees.
- →Tracked brand lists are not the full market. Each category tracks ten brands; unlisted competitors may appear in answers without being counted as tracked mentions.
